COMMUNICATION: A CRITICAL SKILL

No one disagrees that communications is critical for executive effectiveness. Leaders must be able to present their ideas in a powerful way and to gain backing for those ideas.

Yet, many professionals struggle significantly to craft presentations that are truly compelling. We want to impact our audience but still often end up presenting bland and uninspiring material. We can leave our audience unmoved, and more importantly unmotivated to act.

Most companies recognize this problem and address this important skill gap through training. That's when a second problem presents itself. Traditional communications training often focuses on the trivia of eye contact and body language. It hits the bullseye...on the wrong target. Eye contact and body language aren't the reason for ineffective communication. So, even after training takes place, nothing really improves.

THE LEEWAY APPROACH

There is a better answer. And it is better because we set aside conventional wisdom. We start with the question, “Why do communications REALLY fail, and how do we correct for that?”  Our workshop is based on research into how humans receive and process information. Professionals learn and apply the principles that make up our model for audience-centric presentations.

Conducted live and on-site, our workshops can be transformative to your team and your relationships.
