About Patti Lee

As an award-winning journalist, Patti Lee spent more than 10,000 hours reporting live from the anchor desk and from the field. She has covered major news events across the world, her stories airing on CNN, NBC, FOX, CBS and local affiliates. She has anchored multi-hour live coverage of developing events, including natural disasters, election results and high profile trials.

She started her broadcast journalism career in college with an internship at CNN, then moved on to the MacNeil-Lehrer NewsHour and broadcast news stations including KTVT, KHNL, WJW, KOVR and KTVU.

In 2015, Patti started working with entrepreneurs, C-suite executives, professors, litigators and thought leaders to help refine their messages and address specific communication issues. She knows that the fundamentals of good communication don’t change. That understanding allows her to work with a diverse group of clients — from Fashion TV Network to AAA to Telluride Venture Accelerator. She has given talks on targeted communication at UC Davis, Hawaii Pacific University and has conducted workshops for Hawaii Government Lawyers and the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office.

An advocate for social justice, Patti is committed to community. She has served on the Board of Managers for the YMCA Bayview-Hunters Point in San Francisco and on the Board of Directors for Marin Advocates for Children. She was elected President of two chapters of the Asian-American Journalists Association where she worked to lift the ‘bamboo ceiling’ for journalists in management.

Patti is a graduate of Columbia University in the City of New York. She resides in Marin County.
